As I was walking downtown with some friends looking for reflective photo's my friends and I freaked out over this building. It was tall, it was shiny, it was 95% glass surface. There was no way I was passing this building and not capturing the amazing reflection in it. Before this class, I would have walked by it and thought it looked wow, but I wouldn't know what made it so wow. Besides the fact that it was a tall blue glass surface, it had amazing reflective properties.
This is me and my best friend, Connor. I saw this little window and I had this brilliant idea. Take a photo of our torso down. This was you can't see our faces. We modeled a little with our legs to give the photo character. I think this reflective photo is pretty cool because without showing our faces we created a photo in which we can still show our personalities.

It was fun playing with this little plastic jewel. I felt like I was creating art out of something that I got for twenty-five cents. I really liked the way the jewel was bending the light to make something beautiful. In the photo of the jewel in black and white I thought it gave a really simplistic feel, but also had a wow factor to it and that is what I try to go for every time if I can. As a fashion designer, that is what I hope to create in my designs. Simple, but amazing.
